- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 slices of bacon chopped
- Colby Jack or preferred cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
INSTRUCTIONS
- Get Mixing: Blend together yellow onion, salt, pepper, Smoked Out pepper flakes, bacon, and Worcestershire with ground beef. Feel the flavors meld!
- Ball 'Em Up: Shape the beef into equal, fun-sized balls.
- Heat Things Up: Crank that large cast-iron skillet to medium-medium high. Let's make some heat waves!
- Butter Up: Once hot, throw in butter and let it shimmy and shake until it starts to melt.
- Smash Time: Drop the burger balls into the skillet and smash 'em down within 30 seconds. Hulk-style!
- Sizzle & Flip: Cook for 2-3 minutes until beautifully charred, then flip those patties. Another couple of minutes to char the other side (a little less time here).
- Cheese Please: Slap on the cheese and let it melt into gooey delight.
- Patty Party: Pull off the patties. Get them ready for the bun bash.
- Bun Fun: Cool the skillet, add 1-2 tablespoons of butter, and toast the buns face down for 30-60 seconds.
- Build-a-Burger: Stack those patties on the buns, add your favorite toppings, and celebrate. Burger time!
